To ensure that the rail is fitted correctly it is required to suit all heights of users including quite tall. The rail should not be low enough to create a siphoning effect that will drag the waste back into the domestic system, so 25mm above the tray is a good distance. Greenford Plumbers use skilled tradesmen. The holes for both inlet pipes should be sealed off using sealant that is for sanitary jobs. Both hot and cold water supplies can be used briefly to give a quick flush of the pipework prior to starting. Place a coupler on both of the pipes and then you can fit the thermostatic valve for the mixer, you can do this with the adjustable spanner. Check for leaks by operating both the hot and cold water. When you are happy, turn off and disconnect the mixer and attach the chrome finished trims for the pipes. Finally replace the mixing valve. Connect the lever and holder to the slide rail. Put the brackets on each end of the rail, marking the lowest hole to drill that will hold the bracket. A Greenford Plumber can install showers. With the pipe and cable detector double-check that there are no pipes or cables etc. prior to drilling. Drill and plug the lowest bracket hole and use a small amount of sealant (sanitary) at the hole. Remove the slider rail from the brackets and secure the bottom bracket to the bottom hole using the screw that was included in the kit. The best way to locate the position of the top fixing hole is to set the rail back onto the bracket at the bottom. Place the other mounting bracket on the top of the rail. Confirm that it is vertical using the spirit level and make a mark for the top fixing hole on the wall. Take the rail off and drill and plug the again. Secure the top bracket with the rail in place. Finally, use the supplied covers for the top and bottom brackets to finish the job.“
